We don't get a lot of Karens here in Hawai'i, but when we do, we banish them to Kailua. Kidding. For the backstory on this graphic, we have to rewind to the lockdown era. There were several high-profile incidences involving people publicly resisting state ordinances, and a fair amount of the happened to have been either from, or in, Kailua. One viral tweet later (authored by me), and this quote and eventual shirt was born.
